Vault & Beam Homes™

The Vault & Beam Difference

Our Philosophy

We build homes thoughtfully, for the way real life is actually lived.

The difference is in the details others overlook — the standards we refuse to compromise and the finishes we simply include. Here is what sets a Vault & Beam home apart.

01

Wide by Design — More Room Where It Matters.

Moving into your home shouldn’t mean figuring out how to get things through the door. Every Vault & Beam home includes one wider exterior door, built for the reality of move-in day.

02

10-Foot Ceilings — Even in Our Entry-Level Homes

Minimum 10ft ceilings in every living room combined with a thoughtfully designed window package that maximizes natural light in the living areas and master bedroom. This gives a luxury, open feel without the luxury price tag. It changes how light moves through the space and how the room feels to live in every single day.

03

No Sliding Doors — Built for Minnesota & Wisconsin Winters

In Minnesota and Wisconsin, airtightness isn’t a preference — it’s a necessity year-round. Sliding doors are notoriously difficult to seal, leaking heat in harsh winters and letting in hot air, humidity, and bugs during the summer. We eliminate sliding doors entirely. Instead, we use French doors or standard swing doors depending on the design — the aesthetic and functionality without the energy loss.

04

Tankless Water Heater — Endless Hot Water, No Worry

Every Vault & Beam home comes with a tankless water heater standard. Endless hot water on demand, no tank that can leak and flood your home, and real savings on your energy bill. No upsell, no add-on — it’s just part of how we build.

05

The Full Package — What Others Charge Extra For

Media wall and backsplash are all included in every home — not optional upgrades, not line items on an upgrade sheet. These are the details that make a house feel finished, protected, and ready to live in from day one.

07

Electric Fireplace — Warmth & Ambiance, Zero Hassle

Minnesota and Wisconsin winters are long. Warmth and ambiance aren’t luxuries—they’re part of daily living from October through April. Every Vault & Beam home comes with a minimum of one electric fireplace included as standard. It delivers both heat and atmosphere, working seamlessly with your HVAC system to keep your home comfortable while adding that warm focal point families gather around.

Depending on the floor plan, the electric fireplace may be integrated into the media wall as a unified built-in feature, or positioned as a freestanding focal point elsewhere in the living space. Either way, it’s included—not an upgrade, not an add-on. In our signature line, vented exterior wall fireplaces (not roof-vented) may be offered as a premium upgrade option for those seeking a different aesthetic or enhanced heating capability.

06

Appliances Included — Washer, Dryer, and More

Yes, kitchen appliances are becoming standard across the industry—refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, range hood. But the washer and dryer? Nearly every other builder leaves those out, asking you to add them yourself. Not Vault & Beam. Every home comes with a full suite of stainless steel kitchen appliances plus washer and dryer included. Move in ready. Everything you need, from day one. That’s the difference.
